The 2014 Toyota Corolla, marking the 11th generation of the world’s best-selling compact car, was introduced today at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.
First, the media in attendance played a little Q&A game highlighting the long and rich history of the Toyota Corolla, which has been manufactured in Canada since 1986.
Toyota Canada Managing Director Stephen Beatty and President Seiji Ichii took turns on the main stage, which was strategically lit and surrounded by Canadian Pacific wagons of the 1920s. They explained how the 2014 Toyota Corolla will now become an emotional purchase rather than a rational one.
Then, following a NASA-style countdown, eight dancers from Pulse N’Limited hit the stage for a short performance. With electro music rocking the place, the 2014 Toyota Corolla made its glorious entry.
Sporting a completely revised exterior including racy headlights, a gaping front grille, and a sculpted rear, the new Corolla is sure to be a hit.
